New Poll: Whither Porsche?

I created this blog because Porsche has inspired me. The vision of Ferry Porsche inspired me. The racing history has inspired me. The cars have inspired me. The brand has inspired me.

But now...

I hate to admit it, but Porsche's money woes, its idiotic play for control of VW and now the ugly family infighting and the squabble between Porsche and VW have tarnished the Porsche brand. It makes it hard for me to post to this blog. The whole situation depresses me.

It also makes me worry about the future of Porsche.

  1. There's always been at least some family in-fighting at Porsche....even while the Dr was still alive. ( just like every family company I've ever known).

    In any case, since the cash flow problems are a result of one time actions ( that can be unwound) and not the sustemic problems that were the basis of other automaker's problems such as GM and Crysler, then I have to vote that I'm not concerned. It will survive and most likely contiune to prosper. They still are selling all the cars they make ( and profiatably).
