Thank God. It WAS a Hoax!

A few weeks ago, I posted an item about a Shooting Brake version of the Porsche Cayman supposedly spotted on the road by the staff of the U.S. version of Top Gear.

In my item, I said I really detested the car and hoped it was a fake.

Well, it turns out it is a fake, according to this posting on a New York Times blog.

There is justice in the world after all.

Now if only the stories about Porsche being taken over by Volkswagen could be a hoax.
